The first products from Human Made’s Ningen-sei capsule collection will be released on Saturday, June 25. 

 

The collection focuses on Japanese culture, taking its name from a literal translation of “human made”. The pop designs feature Human Made’s interpretation of traditional clothing and crafts, while also embodying street culture and a playful spirit.

 

This release includes a fresh take on a traditional happi coat and graphic T-shirts dyed with indigo, which has come to symbolize Japanese dyeing culture. These items are joined by wind chimes, papier-mache lucky cats and chopstick rests modeled on Human Made’s iconic animal motifs. From hand-dyed wares to original ceramics, the release features various items for the hot summer months.

 

The second release from the collection is just around the corner, so stay tuned for further details.
